Of course there were adjustments for everyone.  The cats didn't know what to think of her at first.  They would sneak up behind her and sniff her tail and try to catch it but after a couple times of her drawing back to whack them (she didn't actually whack them) they stayed clear. They even share the couch in front of the picture window now. She likes to be alone on the couch the best though.   She quickly gained weight and grew to love her new home and new mom.  She still to this day thinks she is invisible when she closes her eyes though.  I tell her all the time that I can still see her but she must think I lie to her.
