Baroque was fromed in May 2001 by Akira (Ex-Shiver) and Bansaku (Ex-After Effect).
Ryo and Kei joined the band in June, both ex-members of the band Kannivalism.
Baroque performed for the first time in August, and in September they released their first demo tape: "Hitei derikashi".
On 12 January 2002 they sold a special edition of their mini-album "Tokyo Stripper", in a one man.
They changed the title into "Akihabara denkiten kokujinfu asia Tokyo Stripper",
and on March 23 they released the mini-album again with its original name, "Tokyo Stripper".
After that Naru, the drummer, left the band.
On June 8, 2002, their new maxi-single, "Sukebe boy" is released, and Yuji (ex-Hanoru) replaced Naru on the drums.
In spring 2003, they become a major band,
but Yuji had an accident, and lost his memory.
He couldn't participate in their last indies-concert in the NHK hall, and was replaced by Jun-Ji, former drummer of the band Siam Shade.
Sony Music distributed their music, and another side of Free will produced them: FIREWALL DIV.
After an unique concert in Nihon Budokan, Baroque had a few problems.
In the end, they had an interview with the magazine Arena37°C, and everything is explained:
Kei was arrested because he was drunk, after he had a fight with some members of the crew of the Nihon Budokan after the concert.
Baroque performed again in 2004, "Gariron" was finally released, just like the maxi-singles "Ila" and "Nutty a hermit".
In the summer of 2004, Akira was hospitalised, which results in cancelling a part of their tour.
In August 2004, Bansaku announced that he will leave the band, and only a month later, the three remaining members of Baroque announced that they will disband.
Their final concert was on Christmas, 25 December 2004.
It was called "Mumirai -no future-".
