FRANCESC AGUILAR VILLALONGA

This artist was born in Alaquás, (Valencia), Spain in 1942.
From his youth he became fond of painting so decided to devote himself to this activity.
He studied in The Arts and Crafts Center of Aldaia (Valencia), in the drawing class of Fine Arts Circle of(Valencia) and in San Carlos Fine Arts College of Valencia.
In April 1962 he arrived in Mallorca and he lives in Palma since 1972.

In 1963 he shared his first participation in a collective show in (Burjassot - Valencia).
From then he has taken part in a hundred individual or collective exhibitions, fairs or competitions in:
Majorca: Palma , Pollença, Andratx, Manacor, Valldemossa, Santa Ponça, ...
Spain: Alaquás, Valencia, El Ferrol, Sant Pere de Ribes, Valdepeñas, Valladolid, Logroño, Barcelona,...
Europe: Frankfurt, Paris, Ferrara, ...
USA: Miami, New York, ...

In 1980 he was granted the Bronze Medal at Andratx Competition ‘80.
In 1996 he was named Member of International Academy “Greci-Marino” in Vinzaglio (Novara), Italy.
In 1996 he was named Honorary Member of The Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art of Miami, USA
