1/358: “THE LAST OIL BARON” (I)
BOB EWING has found the lifeless body of his brother J.R., who seemingly has shot himself. However, BOB unconsciously answers to the sheriff´s questioning that he heard somebody running away. Thus he tries to hide the bare fact away. Meanwhile, far from SOUTHFORK, MISS ELLIE, feels something is going wrong...
2/359: “THE LAST OIL BARON” (II)
All the people who were part of J.R.´s life react to his death´s news. BOB eventually convinces the sheriff NOT to report about his suicide. CLIFF opens his new offices in the former EWING Building, and holds a press conference to tribute his eternal archrival, his very own way...
3/360: “TO REIGN AFTER DEATH”
Only BOB and family lawyer HARV attend J.R.´s funeral. Afterwards the rest of them begin to arrive, except MISS ELLIE, who still ignores what happened. SUE ELLEN and the kids fly from LONDON. Also JAMES returns to DALLAS, sure of getting his share of heritance. But, loyal to himself, J.R.´s testament is a surprise...
4/361: “RESENTMENT”
Accompanied with CLAYTON and RAY, the EWING matriarch returns home, mourning his son´s loss. Meanwhile SUE ELLEN still allows J.R. control her life, even dead. His testament´s clause determining that she must never control JOHN ROSS´s heritance, gets her obsessed with the past...
5/362: “ALTERNATE SCHEMES”
Encouraged by HILLARY TAYLOR´s stepdaughter JORY, CLIFF gets MICHELLE´s murder case re-opened. At the same time SUE ELLEN settles down back in DALLAS after separating from her husband and accepts a business proposal from GARY, who´s determined to regain the family business. In the meantime MISS ELLIE is against BOB´s and RAY´s project...
6/363: “J.R.E.”
A journalist finds out the truth about J.R.´s death and prints the news, which gets BOB and MISS ELLIE angry. MICHELLE is committed into prison after threating CLIFF, who also kicks butts with JACK EWING, who still blames him for JAMIE´s death. The new SOUTHFORK is stopped and JAMES joins CLIFF...
7/364: “PATERNITY”
After shutting up the rumors about J.R.´s suicide, MISS ELLIE accepts an invitation from CALLY to spend some time in FLORIDA. Down there, her former daughter-in-law introduces her little baby ELEANOR. When knowing that J.R. was his father, MISS ELLIE begins to give in emotionally and ends up reconciling with BOB, whom he was unconsciously blaming. Back to DALLAS, LUCY re-encounters his dad GARY...
8/365: “CHRISTOPHER´S MYSTERY”
By chance LUCY discovers that CHRISTOPHER has been leaking part of the post and thinks that, just like she did, he is having school problems. But nothing is further from reality: he has been getting mysterious letters lately, from somebody who claims to be a friend of his mum PAMELA´s. Meanwhile CLIFF makes more and more enemies day by day...
9/366: “WHO SHOT CLIFF?” (I)
CLIFF is found in a serious condition in his office elevator. He seems to have been shot several times and put into a coma. In order to operate, the doctor needs some kin´s affidavit and BOB decides to search for PAM and KATHERINE. Meanwhile the police are considering such suspects as JAMES, CARTER, LIZ, JACK and others...
10/367: “WHO SHOT CLIFF?” (II)
The police arrest JAMES when his fingerprints are found on the gun, although he had arisen suspicion when he took over the company. At the hospital, a blonde woman delivers an authorization signed by PAM. At the same time BOB´s detective´s enquiry ends up at the EWING Building Penthouse...
11/367: “LONGTIME COMPANIONS”
KATHERINE commits suicide jumping off her balcony, which, altogether with other evidences found in her apartment, confirms that she shot CLIFF. JAMES is set free and back to BARNES-EWING. Paralysed after the operation, CLIFF is isolated from the outer world, with one exception: HIS SISTER PAM, back to DALLAS to take care of him...
12/368: “DANCES WITH WOLVES”
At the OIL BARONS´ BALL, the EWINGS go back to the DALLAS socializing. An insisting rumor spreads like wildfire: PAM is the blonde woman who takes care of CLIFF. At the same time GARY and SUE ELLEN are getting really along in their Alternate Energy joint venture, but they ignore that someone is watching over them. J.R. is named Oilman of the Year, posthumously...
13/369: “A FEW BAD MEN”
Self-absorbed by her new job, SUE ELLEN is overlooking JOHN ROSS and he gets addicted to a design drug, which affects his school qualifications. To worsen things, she gets a call from DON, who has received some compromising photos of hers with GARY. In the meantime LUCY is determined to re-unite her parents again and plots against him...
14/370: “OVER THE EDGE”
GARY is ready to offer SUE ELLEN his help about her problems with JOHN ROSS, which increase when DON asks her for a divorce. Their mutual alcoholic past makes them handle the subject carefully. CLIFF and PAM are settled down in RAY´s former house, close to SOUTHFORK, and close to CHRIS too...
15/371: “CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS”
JAMES´s wife DEBRA LYNN, encouraged by CARTER, returns to DALLAS with her son to try to take him back, but JAMES schemes to make her sign a contract giving him up the child´s custody. Meanwhile VALENE gives an ultimatum to GARY so he accepts his own responsibilities as a father and quits his fight for POWER...
16/372: “URBAN COWBOYS”
After facing VAL, GARY decides to sold his company out to CLIFF along with its assets, even knowing that it won´t be profitable. At SOUTHFORK, BOB and RAY open a family-oriented resort with MISS ELLIE´s affidavit. SUE ELLEN and JOHN ROSS fly to LONDON for the divorce hearing and BOBBY decides to pay a visit to CLIFF...
17/373: “THE GREAT LIE”
BOBBY is shocked to see that CLIFF´s mysterious companion is...AFTON. In spite of their explanations, he thinks they are hiding something away from him, since his son is showing a sudden interest in his mother. When AFTON leaves again, BOBBY finds out the truth indeed: PAM is back and has been meeting their son CHRIS...
18/374: “OLD FLAMES”
Pushed by CLIFF and MISS ELLIE, BOB agrees to let his son meet his mother openly, though he thinks that there is a wall between him and PAM that will never go away. In SWITZERLAND, RAY randomly meets DONNA, who is attending an ecologist convention with her daughter MAGGIE. The couple´s feelings blossom up all over again...
19/375: “THE MOTHER”
ELLIE visits PAM to assure her that she will interfere on her behalf so PAM will be able to see her son. Meanwhile LUCY and JAMES are partners in order to buy BARNES-EWING, unaware that it is almost ruined. BOB agrees to meet PAM, but a TRAGEDY stops him. Before that, CLAY confides to DUSTY about MISS ELLIE´s health condition...
20/376: “NEVER SAY GOOD-BYE”
MISS ELLIE´s foreseen death shocks everybody. All who loved her re-unite at her funeral, including GARY, PAM and SUE ELLEN. Finally BOB agrees to let CHRIS go on a holiday trip to EUROPE with PAM and CLIFF. Before leaving, the alter finds out that AFTON´s daughter has disappeared from her life mysteriously...
DUSTY is persuaded by CLAY to stay at SOUTHFORK, RAY gets a pone call from JENNA, and a newly broke JAMES surfaces again thanks to MISS ELLIE´s testament. The day he leaves, CLIFF reveals to BOB that his sister was told she was going to die and that´s why she abandoned them years before. At last, BOB reacts and rushes to the airport, but it´s too late...
