Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups finely chopped walnuts 2 tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • Instructions:
    1. Cream butter and margarine. Add sugar and vinegar; beat until fluffy. Sift flour and soda and add to mixture. Stir in nuts.

    2. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet using scant teaspoonful.

    3. Bake at 300 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

    4. Cool on opened, brown paper grocery bag to absorb some of the butter.

    5. Makes approximately 6 dozen.
