Del 1ro al 28 Mayo: realizan con éxito varios conciertos en la capital.
Mayo 30 : especimen se presenta con exito en el estado de patitlan lugar lienzo charro.
Junio 5 : especimen visita por segunda vez el estado de michoacan.
Junio 6 : realizan un gran concierto en el roxy de guadalajara jaIisco.
Julio 17 : participan en un acoplado discografico el cual fue presentado en el primer festival independencia celebrado en el historico museo de la ciudad de mexico. teniendo como cartel a los grupos del momento.
Julio 24 : se distribuye internacionalmente el disco " biogenesisfinal". del 29 de julio al 26 de septiembre: especimen continuo su gira slam 99 por varios ciudades mas de la republica mexicana.
Septiembre 5 : celebran su 12 aniversario en la ciudad de puebla.
Septiembre 30 : especimen entra a una nueva compañía de representacion de artistas planean futuras giras nacionales.
Octubre 17 : la revista banda rockera dedica su portada y extensa entrevista al grupo especimen por el éxito que ha tenido su nuevo disco. del 1ro de octubre y hasta el 18 de diciembre continuaran su gira " biogenesisfinal" por la zona central, norte y sur del pais. logrando hasta estos momentos un cumulo mas de exitos, mismo que han dado incapie a ser nuevamente nominados por mejor disco y mejor grupo de hardcore nacional.
