Cloak |
- The Vampire is an important part of any Greblsrac player's fleet as it has the lowest initiative of all your ships. Against everyone apart from the Terbatim, this ship will be the first to fire, and targeting Fighters, then Corvettes, it can destroy an enemy's fighters before they have chance to fire, and allow your other ships to finish off the job. Necessary for defence. Weakness - EMP will freeze them easily as they have only 40% EMP resistance.

Cloak |
- The Ghost is a necessary part of an early fleet. The only ship to target Frigates - and thus enemy ROiders - first until Iridions, means this ship is very useful in defence. As it is a fighter, it is useful defending your planet, and allies. Strengths - Defemce early on. Weakness - Again the Terbatim, those guys can disable these ships with ease. Also Weak if not supported by Vampires against enemy Fighters.

Cloak |
- The Cobalt is a great ship. Targetting everything with two guns, power three each means that when supported or unsupported it can do a lot of damage. The only ship able to be accessed which costs more Silicon than Titanium, and thus a 'SIlicon dump' it is a very good ship apart from this. Strengths - can target everything. Works well in combination with Vampires. Good for defence and attacking. Weakness - You will get bored of me saying this but still a comparatively low EMP resistance compared to other races.

Cloak |
- The Blaze is an offensive ship rather than a defensive. It acts as flak for your special roider, and is effective at killing Fighters due to its 8 guns. Nothing else really needs to be said. Strengths - When used with the Shadow to attack, has a low ETA and provides flak. Weakness - Incredibly low EMP Resistance, don't attack the Terbatim, he needs 1.5 guns totake out one of your Blazes, that is two Sabres to take out 3 Blazes!

Capture |
- The Shadow is the earliest special roider, and the fastest roider in the game, use it wisely! Not that different to a normal Roider, its only real advantage is its speed. Used with Blazes, reap rewards without allowing the defender to get out of galaxy defence, even when attacking outside your cluster! Strengths - low ETA. Weakness - EMP Resistance is the lowest of any ship in the game, when attacking the Terbatim my advice is to use Conventional Roiders.

- The Conquer is possibly the worst ship in the game. Though it has high power, with only one gun it would take over 8 Conquer's to kill any one ship, and possibly up to 39! Though arguably it takes less resources to build than what it kills, there are better ships doiing exactly the same task. Strengths - none. Weaknesses - it takes between 8 and 39 to kill any one ship, that means between 800 and 3900 to kill only 100 ships!

Cloak |
- The Iridion is probably the ship most able to take out any ship for you. It can target everything, and has a good amount of guns and power. With a decently high EMP resistance compared with your other ships, Iridions are appropriate ships for every situation. A possible use of them is as flak with Roiders, however the Vixen does this better although it is not as useful. Strengths - a good ship for any situation. Weakness - Needs support from ships with lower intiative.

- The Barracuda is almost as pitiful as the Conquer although it takes only 4.5 to 9.1 ships to kill another. I don't see any siituation arising in which this would be a useful ship. My advice, wait for Initinas and use them. Strengths - none. Weakness - takes too many ships to kill an enemy for it to be useful.

- The Vixen is useful as flak for the Roider, but the Iridion has other uses apart fromthat and I would suggest using Iridions for this purpose. Any other purposes the Vixen may have, the Initinas can do better. Strengths - as flak for ROiders. Weakness - targets very large ships. Iridions and Initinas are better suited to any job the Vixen could otherwise be put to.

- The Initinas is the ship with the most power in the game, but only four guns. However, it targets those larger ships, and has a lower initiative than most of them so is definitely useful! Your only Destroyer. Strengths - defensive mainly as it targets the three bigger shiptypes. Weakness - vulnerable to smaller ships if it doesnt have enough support.

- The Dagger is your best big ship (De, Cr, Bs) targetting everything, it can take out any ship pitted against it. Obviously it needs support, but this ship is useful in defence, and some attacks - those where you want to kill rather than quickly nip in to roid. Your only Cruiser. Strengths - targets everything, 8 guns with 20 power each, thats 160 power! Weakness - high ETA really means it cant defend except in gal.

- The Hyperion is your only Battleship. With 80 guns, and 5 power this packs a mighty punch. This will effectively kill a large proportion of your enemy's fighters and corvettes. Hoever, if by the time this ship gets to fire they aren't already severely dented something is wrong with your fleet. Strength - against small ships. Weakness - defending out of gal, and if you plan on winning the battle, these shouldn't have a chance to fire, your Fighters and Corvettes should already have done the job!

On THE MITHIAN:
An extract from The Official Planetia FAQ by Bradz
Mithian are a human-like race. Mithian's ships destroy their enemies. This type of ships are known as Normal ships. Mithians have a Destroyer class capture-type ship, which can be useful when attacking people who don't have ships that target De class. Mithian is recommended for beginners to Planetia.
A further extract from The Official Planetia FAQ by Bradz
Mithian (Normal)
Offensive: Pegasus, Medusa, Deus
Defensive: (Defend other planets) Venture (Defend base) Venture, Titan
When playing as Mithian, it's best to get Destroyers as soon as possible. Destroyers (Pegasus, Deus) will allow you to make easy attacks on people who don't have De-targetting ships. Another good thing is you don't need alot of different kinds of ships to be able to provide ships for attacks and defence. You have the Fighter, Venture, which targets Fighters, Corvettes and Frigates, so you can send this to a planet to defend if quick defence is needed. Mithians is recommended to new players.

- The Venture is an important part of any Mithian player's fleet as it is your only Fighter. It is thus the first ship you get in the game - except Roiders - and one of only three you will have when you come out of protection. It is your second fastest ship to the Pegasus, and targets the three smallest ship classes. It is a typical Mithian ship - decent armour, guns and power, nothing exceptional here but being your only fighter must be utilised well. It can also act as a Titanium dump, if you run out of Silicon! Strengths - can target wide variety of ship classes. Weakness - high Initiative.
