I was born July 13, 1977 in City of Buenos Aires. I began my musical studies at 5 years-old with the teacher Alicia Dowek. At 16 years-old pick up a bass for the first time and a friend teaches myself how to play it. After 6 months of parctice I begin to study with the professor Rubèn Casas during 3 years. Besides teaching me a pile of things, he gave me the possibility of replacing him when he could not play, and as much as band he recommended he walked needing a bassist. It is so during that time i began to play with bands of diverse styles. It went so in May of 1995 I began to play in ZOHEL, a rock band already formed, in which I participated to his separation at the end of that year. In May of 1996 is formed ART DECO, a pop band that hard so alone a pair of months. In July of that same year is born SCOTLAND YARD, a rock band with reminiscenses funk that lasted 5 years. During that period a record was published and, among other things, we count on the participation of Charly Garcìa in some shows. In 1997 I enter the EMPA (Popular School of Music of Avellaneda) where course 2 years. In July of the '97 call me to play in KULEBRA, a band that sailed among the heavy rock and the alternative rock, and at the same time I began to work in pubs playing in covers bands. To the year I decided to abandon KULEBRA. In August of the '99 I entered to ABEL CALZETTA Y EL TRESILLO, an instrumental rock band which I continued playing at present. Also I composed the music for the theater work "A bell tower for the town" (1999) and "Peter Pan" (2000). In the year 2000 I formed part of a fusion trio where we play themes of John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Larry Carlton, etc. Also I Participated in the first phase of Mariela Vitale`s band and I recorded "Escultores del aire" (Sculptors of the air) with ABEL CALZETTA Y EL TRESILLO". During 2001 it is separated SCOTLAND YARD, I play the majority of the year with ABEL CALZETTA Y EL TRESILLO, in September I begin to record my first soloist disc, "Estilo de vida" (Style of life), and also the first record of Pablo Miquelarena. In April of 2002 I record "Despedida Porteña" (Farewell of Buenos Aires), second record of ABEL CALZETTA Y EL TRESILLO.To half of year I situated myself in San Martìn de los Andes, Neuquèn State, where I begin to play in several formations, among them, ANTU. At the end of the year I record "Paisajes" (Landscapes), third record of ANTU, I participate in the Bolsòn Jazz Festival and in the Argentine Musicians Festival, carried out in San Martìn de los Andes, next to artists of the size of Leòn Gieco, Luis Salinas, Pedro Aznar, Chango Spasiuk, among others. |
