| It all started on a planet where one race ruled, the Saiyans. Fierce beings with a craving for fighting, but what made them stand out from any other human was that they all posessed monkey-like tails; and by full moon they turned into giant apes with emence powers. But for many saiyans that wasn't enough, for a 1,000 years before them, a saiyan existed that had power far beyond what they posessed: a Super Saiyan. But that saiyan couldn't control that power and was destroyed by it. And the Prince of saiyans, Vegeta the last surviving saiyan of royal blood dreamed of posessing that power, but only to see that it was taken by saiyan of lower class, one that was sent to Earth to destroy it as a child: Kakerat, or his earth name Goku. But what many wanted on the earth could give anyone the power beyond a super saiyan, they were called Dragonballs. Once the seven balls were put together, they called upon the Eternal Dragon, that would give anyone one wish within its power. But enough about that. Goku, his wife ChiChi, and son Gohan, live peacefully on the earth out in the woods, that is until a new danger threatens the Earth so Goku and his allies: Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Yamcha, Tien and depending on what saga, Trunks and Goten have to go and stop this new evil. It's pretty much violence and fighting but not the kind you'd normally think it as. Heck, it even has women fighting (and they kick some major @$$)! Anyway, there are three seasons: Dragonball (Goku's live on the Earth as a child), Dragonball Z (longest season by far), and Dragonball GT (Grand Tour). But there are sagas within each season (unfortunately more than I can name at the moment). |
