This is perhaps the highlight of my trip.  As I was wandering around wondering why I was at where I was, I happened upon this one woman.  At first, I thought it was some religious thing.  Nope.  This is pure Darwin Award material.
As you can see, she had a white umbrella and she has managed to cover herself underneath her umbrella with her white jacket.  This brings us to a very interesting cultural phenomenon.  The people who live in Taiwan are deathly afraid of getting a tan.  No.  It has nothing to do with skin cancer or health reasons.  They don't wish to appear "dark".

So, this brings us back to this woman.  I might remind you that the picture was taken in 95 degree fahrenheit heat with just awful soupy humidity.  My first question, isn't she hot?  My second question, does the jacket draped over your head help you from losing your hair?  My third question, are you in a witness protection program.  My fourth question, can you see where you are going?  Finally, do you derive any enjoyment from being where you are?  If not, why didn't you just stay home?  And, in case you think it's a one time phenomenon in which this woman had a jacket over her head for just a second or two... here she is again in plain traffic from the side.
