My name is Akoli Penoukou. I was born almost half a century ago. I am Togolese (African) and I am married and have three children, two boys and a girl. A polyglot, I speak English, French, German, and four African languages: Ewe, Twi, Fante and Hausa.
WHAT DO I DO?
I love to write: freelance work, journalism, novels, poems, articles, stories. Besides, I teach Business English at a vocational school teaching High School leavers as middle-level managers. A holder of a masters' degree in sociology (Psycho-sociology of communication), I have devoted most of life (18 years) to business. Right now I am the Manager of Ets Pyramide, an import-export firm expanding into manufacturing, agriculture, services, handicrafts and charitable activities. I also sell antiques on behalf of sister companies here.
WHAT ARE MY INTERESTS?
My interests are writing, reading, learning, teaching, music, languages,gardening, clothes and travelling.
WHAT ARE MY FUTURE PLANS?
In freelance writing, I wish to write for as many papers as possible, therefore interested editors should not hesitate to consult my writing sites. As a teacher, I will like to teach young African school leavers to go into private enterprise. And as a business, to transform my company into a conglomerate woith diverse business interests.
