The Cemetery at Eulaton United Methodist Church contains many graves of historical significance. The first recorded burial was in 1852. Solomon Murphree born 1757, died 1852 was a Private in the Continental Line of the Revolutionary War. There are two other members of the Easley family buried in 1852. There are 5 graves of the Civil War.

The Cemetery Committee has purchased a Funeral Pall for use by Members or Friends of our Church. A color picture of the Pall is at the end of this article. A Pall is a beautiful coverlet that drapes over a casket usually in place of a blanket of flowers. Our Pall is made of off-white linen with a fourteen inch wide tapestry band from end to end and across the middle. Gold braid outlines the tapestry. A large maroon cross and four small gold crosses encircle the center. This Pall will enhance the beauty, elegance and dignaty of a funeral service.

Ther is no charge for use of this Pall but contributions to the Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund would be appreciated.

Contact our Minister, Rev. Bohn if you have need for this service.
