The picture of the lodge is supposed to resemble the Yurok
redwood lodges
which were a combination of a pit and redwood planks.
The picture is made by me.
I actually saw a couple when I was a child. The
remenents of my old family home lodge was
still around and part of a neighbors also.
If you desire to furnish your own lodge picture, please
attach the gif picture to your e-mail.
I am aware that the plains Indians may wish to use a teepee
and other Tribes may wish to use
their own tribal lodge designs. Keep the picture
small or I shall feel free to reduce it and
use the Yurok lodge until the work is completed..
When I was in college, the Indian club members were always
trying to unite the different
tribes, at least to the point where they interacted with
each other. Being something of an
idealist, I am still at it.
