Message From The Founder & CEO:

Since the beginning of the Solar Development Cooperative when it was founded in January 1992, education has been a major cornerstone of our business Mission and related goals. Lighting the Way With Creation's Original Remedy compels a process of discovery led by the lamp of knowledge to light the path for humanity from the doomsday of a destructive existence, to the simple joy of healthy renewal and longevity. Whenever we learn difficult lessons, they are a bit less painful when we incorporate the exercise of laughter. Laughter allows us to physically and psychologically bridge our awareness between past belief and new knowledge. Our mascot, the Laughing Dolphin expresses the wisdom and democracy we have found in the lantern of Building-integrated Photovoltaics (BI-PV). We seek to establish the Laughing Dolphin Education Foundation for Building-Integrated PhotoVoltaics to light the path and lighten the load for humanity well into a new millennium.

We need more than just financial resources to effectively educate our youth and the public about the benefits of BI-PV. We need the resources of knowledge, experience and commitment to build this promising new clean energy industry into healthy mainstream commerce.
