The Rumor Mill
These are rumors that surround people in the town of New Hamelin. Any one of them could pan out into something much larger, and much more dangerous. Players are encouraged to pick one of these rumors, and run with it as the seed to their stories.
If you think of something you'd rather write on, please clear it with the Moderator before posting. I like to know what's going on.
If you see a rumor you like, don't forget to e-mail the moderator, and let him know which rumor you want to write on. You will receive more information on the rumor and relevant clues, as well as a listing of what other players are working the same rumor.

The Rumors
There are underground tunnels between the Ibiscorp Executive Tower and the City Hall tower.
There are also underground tunnels between the Ibiscorp Executive Tower and the Submarine bays on the coast.
The Data Fortress at Ibiscorp employs new technology that no other company has, yet.
People go missing around that new housing tract for the rich folks.
Police receive complaints about noises from one of the churches amongst the tenements for the poor... but the church hasn't been used for decades.
The workers won't talk about it, but the submarine crews lose about ten men a month on undewater operations.
Some private investor paid a LOT of money to see to it that an observatory was constructed on the top floor of the City Hall Tower.
Have you noticed that there are no longer any graveyards in New Hamelin?
There are three free clinics in New Hamelin, but only two of them are government approved.
New Hamelin's Body Banks have never failed to produce a needed transplant.
Elvis was sighted at two of the four Denny's resteraunts in New Hamelin.
The children at New Hamelin Elementary have become obsessed with a recently released collectible electronic card game, resulting in several brawls, one riot, and numerous incidents of petty theft.
Meterorologists can not explain the persistent fog layer around New Hamelin.
