Backpacking Europe is nothing new.  People have been doing this for decades.  Throughout the years certain subtleties may have changed, however, the concept of backpacking has remained fairly consistent.  And that concept is to experience Europe with one backpack, hundreds of expectations and an endless supply of memories!

This site is designed to help you begin your journey to a place you've never been and hopefully answer some of the questions you may have.  I am by no means an expert traveler but last summer I was able to work and backpack in Europe for 6 months, which gives me a solid understanding of what you should expect and prepare for.  I have made this site as user friendly as possible, so take whatever you can get from it and good luck!!

Take your pick as to how you want to travel (ie. overpacking vs. packing comfortably)
