TO DREAM AGAIN: NO 1 ESC SONG IN UK - Malta's entry To Dream Again, is the No 1 Eurovision Song for the UK public..scoring 3 times more than the internet favourites t.A.T.U. for Russia. Thanks to the latest technology redio listeners in the UK, using mobile phones are tracking down their favourite radio songs. During this 'poll' which works by radio listeners dialling a number on their mobile phone and pointing their mobile ot the speakers of the radio whilst the radio is playing their favourite song, Lynn's To Dream Again got 48% of Eurovision Songs, 2nd are the MTV popular Russian Duo t.A.T.U. with just 15% followed by UK entry at 14%. The Shazam system works with 4 mobile networks in the UK: Vodafone, Orange, O2 & T-Mobile. "In the past, success at the Eurovision has depended on the state of cross-border relations and historic national loyalties. With voting from members of the public now helping to determine the voting, our data shows Malta could do well," a spokesman for Shazam said. |

Join the Party and fly the Maltese flag in honour of Lynn. A live link from Ta' Qali will be broadcasted during the Eurovision Song Contest after Lynn's Performance. Finally after many years MAlta can have a celebration during the Maltese Song. |

MEDITERRANEAN PARTY: BEST PARTY IN RIGA:- For the second time a mediterranean party was organised during the ESC week. This year the hosts were Malta, Cyprus, Greece & Spain. The party was held yesterday night. All 4 singers performed their Eurovision songs during the party and a special guest who was enjoying the party - Lior Narkis (Israel) also sang his song. After the party, which was held in a club in old Riga, the massive crowd moved on to the Lobby and Eurovision songs were sang. Telma (Iceland 1999) was also present. The party was described by journalists as the best Eurovision Party. |
ONE DAY TO GO: FINAL REHERSALS - The particpants rehersals are now over. Today there will be the first rehersal of the full show which will be held this morning/afternoon. This is a techinical rehersal and therefore there will be no audience. This evening on the other hand there will be another full show rehersal, this time with an audience and the whole show will be recorded just in case something goes wrong tomorrow during the final Show. The last full rehersal prior to the Final Show will be held tomorrow morning. The show will then start at 22:00 (Riga Time). |
