Right next to the hotel is the old slate tunnel called Brandholz. This place has grown quite famous well beyond the limits of the Sauerland. Some people even call it the “Fountain Of Youth”. For years hundreds of visitors have been coming day by day to seek relief or cure for their health problems and diseases.
The power of the spring water and the positive energy field inside the tunnel seem to influence strongly the healing and regeneration process of the human body. With the aid of Japanese scientists we are now able to substantiate a serious theory concerning the tunnel’s powers. When the the water inside the tunnel was analysed and compared to the results of their own research on socalled “Reduced Water” they found interesting parallels.
This water, due to its specific molecular structure, has the ability to pass on free electrons, which can neutralise the “free radicals” by forming a compound with them. According to this the power of the tunnel and its spring water must have an antioxidative characteristic, which means that it is able to decrease the destructive effects of the highly aggressive free radicals on the health and on the cells of the human body. The hereby achieved protection of the cells helps to prevent disease and supports the healing process for existing diseases. Besides the already well-known vitamins (A,C,E) we seem to be dealing here with a new radical scarenger.

Free radicals are highly aggressive molecules which react very fast to their environment because of an impaired electron.
Free radicals can influence important matters ocurring naturally in the body, and they can cause in a particular way damage to the body cells right down to their degeneration (tumor development, aging ). They also take part in the damaging of blood vessels, skin, lung and eyes.
Every organism produces free radicals by way of its metabolism and the defence reactions of its immune system. If the conditions are favourable, the body can neutralise these molecules. But often an increased production of free radicals is caused in particular by exterior influences. In addition to the great number of harmful substances our body has to digest every day (like food additives, preservatives, alcohol, nicotin, drugs, environmental poisons) a daily routine coupled with extreme pressure can intensify tremendously the production of free radicals.
To protect the organism substances are needed which can interrupt the reactionary chains of the free radicals. These socalled “radical scavenger” or antioxidants are substances which have a free electron they can pass on to the aggressive radical molecule so that it can be rendered harmless to the greatest possible degree.
German television reported on the scientific research into the unique properties of the healing water from a cave in Nordenau in January/February 2002. On 21 December 2001 the German television station ARD aired a programme about this healing well which was discovered around 10 years ago.
The programme examined the cave’s special geophysical properties and visitors were asked whether they felt special energies there. People with different illnesses spoke about their experience of the water: some had had positive experiences, and some kept returning to the cave remaining hopeful of a cure.
Interviewed on the programme was Professor Shirahata, a molecular biologist from Fukuoka, Japan, who is researching the suppression of tumour cells by Nordenau water. He has found that the water has antioxidant properties enabling the blocking of the free radicals which weaken cells and the immune system. Free radicals are also involved in the aging process and the formation of cancer cells. Antioxidant properties therefore help protect against various diseases including cancer. Professor Shirahata and his researchers have so far collected 1,000 litres of the water and Japanese visitors are seen regularly at Nordenau.
Nordenau water has also been tested by the International Institute of Biophysics in Neuss, near Düsseldorf, which concluded that the water has special biophysical and bioenergetic properties.
In another case an elderly man had a throat tumour and secondary cancer of the stomach. He was inoperable and his prognosis was very poor. He began to drink the Nordenau water and, after some time, all signs of cancer disappeared. He was very grateful for his healing and donated a statue of the Madonna, which now resides in the Nordenau cave.
In 1992 Ainsworth Homoeopathic Pharmacy in London made a homoeopathic remedy from healing water collected from a well in Tlacote, Mexico.* In September 2001 Mr Pinkus, from the pharmacy, reported that the water brought 10 years ago still remained "crystal clear". He also reported the extraordinary healing of a woman from Japan who took the Tlacote water tablets. Diagnosed with advanced breast cancer, she had been told she had three months to live and that an operation was impossible. Miraculously, however, after taking the tablets regularly, she was cured completely.

"Mehr als zehntausend Menschen kommen täglich zur Wasserquelle von Jesus Chahin. Sie stehen dort für einen oder zwei Kanister des inzwischen berühmten Wassers an, das allerlei Leiden kurieren soll - von Aids und Krebs bis zu starken Übergewicht und einen erhöhten Cholesterinspiegel. Chahin, ein wohlhabender Mann, teilt das Wasser kostenlos aus seitdem er im Mai vergangenen Jahres durch Zufall die heilende Wirkung des Wassers entdeckt hatte, nachdem ein kranker Hund davon getrunken hatte, und daraufhin ungewöhnlich schnell gesundete."
Millionen Menschen machten sich auf den Weg nach Tlacote und kamen nicht selten mit Geschichten zurück, die jene von Lourdes in den Schatten zu stellen scheinen.
Der Amerikaner Wayne Peterson aus Washington erlebte das folgende: "Vor kurzem wurde mein Vater ernstlich krank. Seine drei Ärzte teilten ihm mit, dass er lediglich noch ein paar Tage zu leben habe. Es stellte sich heraus, dass er an Darmkrebs erkrankt war. Der Krebs hatte bereits Löcher in seinen Darm gefressen. Unsere ganze Familie bemühte sich schnell zu ihm nach Südtexas, denn wir alle dachten, dass er in den nächsten Tagen sterben würde."
" Meine Mutter sagte, dass Vater eine Flasche mit besonderem Wasser von den Nachbarn bekommen habe, die sie aus einem kleinen Ort in der Nähe von Mexiko-Stadt mitgebracht hatten. Die Geschichte von dem Wunderwasser hatten sie wiederum von einer mexikanischen Familie gehört (die eng verwandt ist mit dem Präsidenten von Mexiko); sie waren nach Mexiko gefahren, um für ihre an Leberkrebs erkrankte Mutter, die nun im Sterben lag, etwas von dem Wasser zu holen. Innerhalb von drei Tagen war ihre Mutter geheilt."
" Einige Tage vor meiner Ankunft trank mein Vater ebenfalls von dem Wasser. An dem Tag, an dem ich nach Hause kam, gingen wir mit ihm zu anderen Ärzten, um ihn dort nochmals untersuchen zu lassen. Sie teilten uns mit, dass sie keine Anzeichen von Krebs finden konnten. Obwohl es noch ein Loch in seinem Darm gibt, hat er keine Infektionen, und alle Körperfunktionen sind normal. Wir wissen nicht, was wir davon zu halten haben. Die Ärzte gehen davon aus, dass das Loch im Darm meines Vaters ganz von selbst heilen wird."
Eine Erklärung, die oftmals in Zusammenhang mit derartigen "spontanen Heilungen" genannt wird, ist die der Autosuggestion. Sogar Katzen sollen angeblich dieses Talent haben. Die Katze von Nancy Macleod aus San Francisco hatte Arthritis in ihren Hinterpfoten und konnte nicht mehr laufen. Die Katze bewegte sich vorwärts, indem sie sich mit ihren Vorderpfoten über den Boden zog.
Da sei nichts daran zu ändern, sagte der Tierarzt. Das Kätzchen bekam einen Teelöffel vom Tlacote-Wasser. Nach zwei Wochen konnte es eine der Hinterpfoten bewegen. Nach einem Monat war es in der Lage, zu humpeln, und noch etwas später konnte es sogar wieder ganz beachtlich rennen. Zwar noch etwas wackelig auf den Beinen, aber immerhin. Autosuggestion?
Und dann gibt es die Geschichte über diesen Mann, der nachdem er genesen war, eine Reihe von Fotos in der Nähe der Quelle machte. Als er nach Hause kam, war der Film bis auf ein Bild voll. Weil er den Film so bald wie möglich entwickeln lassen wollte, fotografierte er einfach seinen neuen Fernseher.
Obwohl der Fernseher in diesem Moment nicht eingeschaltet war, zeigte das Foto nach der Entwicklung keineswegs einen leeren Fernsehbildschrim: Ein Gesicht war zu sehen, und es war nicht zu verkennen, dass es das Antlitz Christi mit einer Dornenkrone auf dem Kopf darstellte, so wie es den Vorstellungen vieler Christen entspricht.
Maitreya, das hatte Creme in seinem Blatt erklärt, erschien und erscheint in regelmäßigen Abständen religiösen Gruppen überall auf der Welt, wie er dies schon 1988 in Nairobi getan hat. Einige Zeit vorher lädt er in der Umgebung jedesmal eine Quelle mit heilenden Kräften auf. Das zweite Mal nach Nairobi erschien er im September 1991 in Mexiko-Stadt, nachdem er einige Monate zuvor in Tlacote Wasser "magnetisiert" hatte.
Im Sommer 1992 schrieb Creme überzeugt: "Ähnliche Manifestationen werden bald überall in der Nähe der Orte, wo Maitreya erschienen ist, entdeckt werden." Einer der von Creme genannten Orte ist die deutsche Stadt Düsseldorf. Im Verlauf des Jahres wurde in den Nachrichten berichtet, dass man am Hotel Tommes in Nordenau (Sauerland), einem Ort etwa 100 Kilometer östlich von Düsseldorf, heilendes Wasser gefunden habe.
Ein Reporter der Bild-Zeitung befragte vor Ort einige Besucher nach ihren Erlebnissen. Eine alte Frau erzählte ihm, dass sie wieder sehen könne, nachdem sie ihr blindes Auge mit dem Wasser benetzt habe. Ein ehemaliger Bergarbeiter sagte, sein Rücken sein nun geheilt, und er habe seine Krücken weggeworfen.
Eine andere Frau berichtete: "Ich habe immer Probleme mit einem zu hohen Blutdruck gehabt. als ich zu der Grotte ging, hatte ich einen Blutdruck von 160/100. Heraus kam ich mit 130/100. Mein Blutdruck ist jetzt konstant." Der Journalist von Bild beschrieb, was passierte, als er selbst das Wasser trank: "Nach fünf Minuten fingen meine Fingerkuppen an zu kribbeln. Es war, als würde elektrischer Strom durch sie hindurchgehen."
Im September 1993 entdeckten die Bewohner von Nadana, einem Dorf 150 Kilometer nördlich der indischen Hauptstadt Delhi, eine Quelle mit heilendem Wasser. Japanische Zeitungen berichteten von Dorfbewohnern, die unter anderem von Hautkrankheiten geheilt wurden.
Die Süddeutsche Zeitung schrieb am 28. Juli 1994, dass ein chinesisches Ehepaar, beide weit über achtzig, einen "Jungbrunnen" entdeckt habe. Nachdem sie von dem Wasser des Brunnens in ihrem Garten getrunken hatten, fühlten sich Zhou Lianghua und seine Frau Li Guirong mit einem Mal um zehn Jahre jünger. Außerdem erfreue sich Zhou seit langer Zeit erstmals wieder eines starken Haarwuchses, und die grauen Haare seiner Frau erhielten ihre ursprünglich schwarze Farbe zurück.
Während Restaurierungsarbeiten in einer der 1.300 russischen Kirchen entdeckte man 1994 in dem Bistum Kostroma, 300 Kilometer von Moskau, eine Quelle mit heilendem Wasser, so eine Meldung von Euronews.
In allen genannten Fällen bestätigte Creme, dass die heilende Wirkung der Quellen das Werk Maitreyas oder seiner Mitarbeiter, der Meister, sei.
Dies zu behaupten, ist allerdings nicht besonders schwierig, denn hinterher läßt es sich immer leicht sagen, dass da Maitreya seine Hand im Spiel hatte. Wer kann schon das Gegenteil beweisen? Es wäre daher weitaus überzeugender, würde man eine solche Quelle bereits im voraus ankündigen. Und präzise, bitte schön!
Yankalilla ist eine Provinzstadt in Südaustralien, anderthalb Autostunden von Adelaide entfernt. Im August 1994 konnte Susan Fehlburg mitverfolgen, wie auf der Mauer der anglikanischen Christuskirche, gleichsam aus dem Nichts sich manifestierend, ein Bildnis von Maria und dem Kind zum Vorschein kam. Die Welle des öffentlichen Interesses, das die Entdeckung auf sich zog, machte auch einen Wünschelrutengänger neugierig. Dieser war der Ansicht, dass direkt unter der Kirche eine Wasserader verlaufe.
Benjamin Creme, von einem australischen Mitarbeiter um Rat gefragt, sagte, dass sowohl die Wasserader als auch die Erscheinung in der Kirche von dem Meister seien, der in einem seiner früheren Leben die Madonna war. Der Geistliche Andrew Nutter beschloß, nach dem Wasser bohren zu lassen.
Die Frage war nur: Wo? Ein weiteres Fax an Creme auf der anderen Seite des Erdballs lieferte dann die genaue Stelle, an der sich die Wasserader befinden sollte: Zwei Meter von der Außenseite der Kirchenmauer entfernt, parallel zum Bildnis. Man bohrte und stieß auf Wasser."

Standard water molecules (H2O) are formed by covalent polar bonds. Clusters occur when the positive charge of a hydrogen atom of one water molecule is attracted to a negative charge of another water molecule.
