ENTROPY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
I have known Eva Ballai as an MBA student when I retired as Chief Representative, China, Case International Harvester, and taught International Business at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia.

Eva was in the top group of students in exam results, tutorial presentations and class discussions, showing exceptional depth and breadth of knowledge in subject matter. She had an earnestness and purpose about her work and interests which was special, and which I expect would carry over into her career. She got on well with peers and lecturers, and worked positively in team presentations.

Eva discussed with me her aspirations after graduation, and I wish her well in her endeavours. If there is any further comment on specifics required, I may be contacted on 0419-662940 (from inside Australia) or 61-419-662940 from other countries, or via e-mail on

I have known Eva Ballai as one of her lecturers in the MBA program at Griffith University. I have found her to be an above average student who has strong analytical ability. She is articulate and writes well. Her reports have been well researched and presented.

Eva works well in a team environment and as an individual is highly motivated. She sets goals and works to achieve these. She is determined to succees in each of her endeavours. Eva also relates well to people of different backgrounds and has no difficulty in communicating.

I have no hestation in recommending Eva to any prospective employer who is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful employee. Eva has the ability to succeed in any pursuit she undertakes.

I am more than happy to write this reference for Ms. Ballai.

Ms Ballai has been my student in more than one class in the program at Griffith University. In one class, the latest she took with me,
Health Economics, the class was taught on a one-to-one basis as a guided studies subject. Consequently there was an opportunity to get to know Ms Ballai's work more than in a larger class. It was a pleasure to teach her.

I was very impressed by Ms Ballai's dedication to learning in a subject that at the time was relatively new to her. This was especially the case has she had to travel from another campus about 60 kilometres away.

Ms Ballai has an enquiring mind and if she is not sure of something that has been said or written she interrogates it and works on it until she does. This is not just dogged persistence, however, laudable though that trait in her is, but a desire to know and understand. As a consequence of this her reading around the subject was quite extraordinary. So, for example, she read texts on the foundations of economics, not just restricting herself to the immediate topics presented.

Ms Ballai's written work in this and in the other classes that I thaught her were exceptional for their thoroughness, thoughtfulness and presentation. She was willing to conduct a dialogue within those essays which is very unusual.

Ms Ballai was friendly and very easy to work with and all of these traits will serve her and her future employers well.
