Color affects mood; it's that simple. Color reflects mood as well.
In a clinical setting, psychologists have shown that putting
someone in a room painted a single color makes them more
receptive to displaying certain emotions. Bright reds evoke
aggression and anger, yellows evoke happiness, blues evoke
sadness. In general, soft colors are peaceful, dark colors are
morose and brighter, sharper colors are more volatile. We can
also attribute color to personal feelings and that's what this
zine is all about. Being "green with envy" and "feeling a little blue"
is commonplace. Each month a new color and feelings will be
explored through original poetry, short stories, rants and essays
with a common color palette.
