44th Regiment of Foot. Index to recruits in the Muster Books, 1846

There is a slight difference to the index for 1846. I have included some extra details, height and the comments given, if any. otherwise the format is the same. Regimental Number (where issued) Surname, First Name,  Date enlisted (dd/mm/year), Age (years and months) Height (feet and inches, 5 5 3/4 = 5feet, 5 and 3/4 inches) where enlisted and any comments. A reminder once again that not all who were recruited were enlisted, for various reasons. If the reasons have been given in the Muster Books I have included them in this (1846) Index.
