7. HANNAH4 EVES (JAMES3, JAMES2, EVES1) was born Abt. 1844 in Erith, Kent, and died 1899 in Allhallows Kent. She met (2) JOHN MARTIN.

Record of death in 1899 misspells her name as Eaves. Address in 1891 Windhall Green. In 1871 2 Queen Elizabeth Cottages, Lower Road, Erith with her sister Mary and two sons. 1881 Census shows Sister Mary with one of the twins. He is listed as Mary's son, not nephew.
1861 Census shows Hannah living with her Uncle and Aunt, John and Sarah(nee Hawes) Eves. Also there was John Eves, her cousin, aged 20. No father was listed on the birth certificates of any of her children, including Edward Thomas Eves, at the marriage of her daughters a John Eves was listed as the father (see below). The later two children, Agnes and Emma were possibly the children of John Martin, whom Hannah is listed as a Housekeeper for in the 1891 census at Allhallows.
John Martin was born in Offham, Kent, c. 1840. In the 1881 Census John is living at Rainham, Mark (RG11 0974 f101). With him is HANNAH Martin, wife, 38, born Belvedere. Annie, dau, 9, born Belvedere and Thomas, son, 6, born Belvedere. This is Hannah Eves and son Edward Thomas Eves (known as Thomas).
