Draft Wills and Indentures, Kent.

Draft Release of two Messauges or tenements situate the one in York Street the other partly in York Street and partly in Queen Street in Ramsgate in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent. 1834

 Indre of a lease between Sarah LAURENCE, widow of Ramsgate and Michael HENRY, of number 3 Haydon Square Minories in the City of London, Merchant. Israel ABRAHAM, tailor, was appointed by Michael HENRY to act on his behalf. It was agreed that Michael Henry would pay an annuity of £60 per year to Mrs. Sarah LAURENCE and her daughter Elizabeth LAURENCE during their life. On the death of one or the other an annuity of £40 per year would be paid to the survivor. A Bond of £1600 lodged by Michael HENRY guaranteed it. Details are given of the land and some details of other occupants/tenants, but had been scored out in the draft. Regarding the house in York Street and Queen Street it states in the tenure or occupation of James SILK, then ? in the tenure or occupation of Henry WARD. This was crossed out then now in the tenure of James SILK entered and crossed out again. Then in the tenure or occupation of William Maylil (?) entered. Later in the tenure of John …? Crossed out and the name Thomas READ entered. Finishes by stating in the tenure or occupation of Sarah LAURENCE, late of Thomas READ and now in the tenure and occupation of John -oat, first letter not clear. It also states that Michael HENRY will not become entitled to the tittle of the property.
