This is a subscription based EV Tech Support and Repair Service for Sparrow owners, and other EVs.
EVet Tech Support Hotline
A pre-paid subscription as a retainer of $100 a year per vehicle covered. Each Sparrow will be referenced by their VIN Corbin number. Subscription gains access to EVet's expert Tech Support help either by email and/or telephone. First 30 minutes of the consultation is free, then $40/hr there after in addition to the subscription fee.
***Non-subscribers can also use this service, but the rates will be higher and priority will be given to
subscribers.
Telephone and/or email requests will be responded to within 2 hours during 8am - 6pm Monday through Wednesday (Thursdays and Fridays if available), and within 24 hours during weekends. Telephone and email log copies can sent upon customer request. If away, an
alternate number so that people can still reach me (a cell phone will come later).
EVet Repair Service
At my facility (owner brings or ships vehicle themselves), cost is the materials or parts, plus $100/hour for labor (in addition to repair costs and / or subscription fee).
On-site at vehicle location, will an additional charge of a daily rate for travel $200/day, $100 for 1/2 day (in addition to repair costs and / or subscription fee). This additional fee is to cover reasonable travel expenditures (auto mileage, motel nights), with adjustments for accepted customer hospitality
& other Electric Vehicles (EV)
*Sparrow upgrades/modifications offered:
-The heatsink in the wheel-well solution to prevent thermal cutout in cars with the first Kilovac,
-Modifying the brain-box wiring to improve reliability,
-Installing instrumentation lines on batteries,
-De-zapping early Kilovac cars,
-Installing de-sulfation units,
-Possible battery upgrades to NiMH or NiZn when available,
-making Sparrows compatible with GFI outlets
-Ford/Avcon-equipped charging stations as well as other improvements.
EV component vendors are worked with when the resources ae needed to resolve the issue (relationships with Zivan, Kilovac, Optima, Xantrex Link 10 E-meter, Curtis and other part suppliers)
