Yuffie was born in Wutai, the descendant of ninjas whose job it is to protect the town.  Yuffie is on a quest to bring her beloved town of Wutai back to it's former glory.  And she tries to do this by stealing any Materia she can get her hands on--including Cloud's and the others'!  She is abrasive and at times mean, but that's why i like her! ^.^
