Joe Langdon is an American army deserter in south Asia right after WWII.The authorities are after him for a number of brutal atrocities.Sick starving and lost in a jungle, Langdon is near capture.Out of the yellow mist comes a stranger carrying a blood soaked bag.He asks Langdon to serve him without question and he will save his life.Langdon agrees and he is given the bag of rotting human flesh to eat.Which he does.Bon appetite!
For 25 years Langdon passes from body to body,corrupting all that he meets.But when he becomes Phil Rogers something happens.He falls in love with the man's wife and begins to question his evil ways.The Devil then punishes him by transforming him into a werewolf type creature that feeds on human flesh at night.
Langdon tries to fight the beast within but cannot.A reign of bloody terror ensues as the monster turns the city into an all you can eat buffet.Even worse during a roll in the hay with the missus he turns into old blue face!
I saw this movie back in 1977 at the drive in on an all night horror fest with Creature With The Blue Hand and two other flicks long forgotten.It is currently out on dvd.I thought you'd enjoy a peek at some of the things from the pressbook. |
