Touchstone Vainglorious
A sturdy corner of Emerald's foundation, "Vanna" managed to gain all but that last major to finish her AKC championship while being actively campaigned by Jane Hammett. After taking a vacation from shows that lasted several years, Vanna finished under Judge J. Kefeli, Springfield Kennel Club, 11/24/02, with a big, fat, five-point major at the age of 8-1/2 years, flawlessly presented by Nick Joines and Joel McCarty, Sunway Presentations.
Acquired from Tim Brazeale, Touchstone Shelties, Vanna is pictured above taking that lovely, finishing major in November, 2002. This finish was certainly a nice way to end 2002!! Emerald would like to take this opportunity to thank Tim for his faith, and for trusting Emerald Valley enough to let Vanna come to stay all those years ago.
