Leviathan Class
Astrohauler
You've probably seen hundreds of these ships, harvesting valuable resources from the Trugati Asteroid Belt and elsewhere... but did you realise what an excellent piece of engineering the Beta Bodyworks Astrohauler is?
Originally built as a specialist tug for belt mining operations, the Astrohauler's large engines allow huge cargo loads to be towed. They're tuned for power, rather than speed, but the ship still moves at a very respectable rate, even when towing a staggering 425 tons of asteroid debris. Like the industrious ant, this marvellous machine can move several times its own mass.

Some operators fit their Astrohauler with a Nylex fibre net, and carry assorted cargo pods. It doesn't seem to do any harm - the Miranu have been shipping cargo externally for centuries, after all!
Can you believe this? A cargo 'bay' almost as limitless as space itself!

The same pod is used on several other Beta Bodyworks vessels, making them all very popular. We've even heard (unconfirmed) reports of an Astrohauler being fitted out as a luxury yacht.
