Krait Mk. II
In a recent survey of over 1200 qualified pilots, when asked what ship they expected to be flying in a year's time, not one applicant suggested he'd be in a Krait. The 'pocket rocket' Krait has been known for years as a ship for the foolhardy, the desperate, and those with something to prove. All that could soon change, though...
As requested by our loyal customers, here is a sneak peek at the Krait Mk. II, long overdue replacement to what has been called "the worst fighter in known space."
The picture shows a Krait Mk. 2 doing what it does best. Note the particularly large thrust reversers on the nacelles. In the hands of a skilled pilot, drastic evasive action is possible. Other points of interest are a larger fuselage (allowing a miniature cargo bay and larger fuel tank), and a layer of Steelite armour around the cockpit. Not much armour, true, but this ship is light-years ahead of its predecessor.
