If you want to try it out, we have equipment you can use. If you decide to stick with it you'll only need to get the equipment listed below.
What equipment do I need?
The equipment needed is inexpensive.
1. A Shinai (see this website for links to sites that sell shinai)
2. A good pair of heavy or padded gloves.
3. Head gear (protection) is optional.
