Hmmm... Where to start... okay so you're all probably thinkin' "WHAT THE HELL TOOK YOU SO LONG!!" Well, the answer is simple: nothing. I admit it I'm slow, and I thought I had redesigned the site to be easy for me to update on a semi-monthly basis and technically it is, but the problem is when you don't have anything to fill it with when the time comes! I mean I have updated it a couple of times since starting LF2, they just haven't been very interesting so I started holding back art for bigger ones. To top it off a lot of my time recently has been spent on a few projects that ate every spare waking second I had. Two improvizational manga works and a computer training course were the largest chunks.

Going off topic for a second (Oh yeah, like you actually had a topic!), you might be wondering about the quotes I use before each installment of "Stuff." (Each? You only had two man!) er... Well, anyway I'll explain: each STUFF starts with an odd, cool, or obscure song lyric from a randomly selected song in my dangerously stacked collection of CDs ...or one of the voices in my head (Who? ...me?). "Why?" you ask? ...Why not? It's nothing big, they're random usually out of context or just sound funny, I just thought it'd be a cool little game. In each subsequent STUFF I'll reveal where it came from in case you can't figure it out yourself. The previous quote was from the song "2Wicky" by the group Hooverphonic on their CD "A new Stereophonic Sound Spectacular".

Anyway... What should you expect in this latest installment of Lens Flare? Well I've added more then 20 or so pics across the site and the Impromanga comics I spent so much time on. (Hey, what's an Impromanga?) For those of you not familiar with it, Impro is a style of online comic where multiple people sign up and one after another contribute their own ideas to continue a story started by a particular person. (Really? what did you do?) Well, I'm glad you asked...

The first project is the first chapter of "Animate Objects" an original story I came up with from bits and pieces of other sci-fi stories and a few original ideas. You can see it continue at the IMPROMANGA site along with stories by many other talented online artists. The other Story is a continuation chapter of a story called "Forgotten Hope." You can see the beginning and other parts at DOJI. Be warned my part gets a bit bloody. Various art works have also been added like a bunch of gift art people have sent me, a few original and fan art pieces and of course more pictures of Beta! I recently joined a couple of groups so you'll see things connected with them. The East Coast Artists Unite group (aka ECAU), and UNIform UNIon which is a semi-monthly gallery site devoted to characters wearing occupational oufits.(Ya, know like maids and stuff!)

Other things about the site you may notice: The Profiles feature Beta and a Q and A update. The link section has been pretty wonky lately and I haven't updated it much. Most of the links work but people change their site names and addresses a lot not to mention some just plain dissapear. I hope to have that section fixed up soon and maybe see if I can make it load faster as well (...Fat chance...). I've finally added little flashing markers to highlight what is new [] and I've started putting the newest work on top instead of the bottom. Lastly I'm separating 'Stuff' up a bit and I intend to start collecting past text for maybe 3 posts or so. This way if anyone wants to go back and read them... What? ...IT COULD HAPPEN! geez...

For those of you still interested in the continuing chapters of my online mangas, "BETA!" and "Street Fighter: REMIX", let me know. I need encouragement to keep them going in the face of my dwindling time and energy, I mean I really do want to do them but I want to know that someone is going to enjoy them too!
