The nosecone for this rocket was made up of three sections, each machined individually from bar stock aluminum, then screwed together. Assembled, the nosecone was 3 in. diameter at the base, and 5.6 in. in length, and was hollow. Later nosecones, however, were single piece machinings.
This rocket was propelled by a B-200 motor, loaded to 75% propellant capacity, as were all the earlier flights in the C-series...
