PHOTO 75-- Flight C-20 : July 29, 1981

The rocket for Flight C-20 was fitted with somewhat larger fins to ensure stability. This rocket had a launch pad weight of 3.9 lb (1.75 kg) , including the 200 gram propellant grain.
Liftoff was swift and the rocket ascended straight as an arrow, coasting upward and gradually losing velocity until at t=+10.0 seconds, when the speed had decayed sufficiently, the air-speed switch triggered parachute ejection. The rocket gently descended, touching down at t=+86 seconds, exactly ¼ mile (0.4 km) downrange.
