This page is dedicated to the CANADIAN HISTORY course thought by Mr.Tran-Adams. The class outlines the significant events that occurred in Canadian History. It shows how Canada strives to represent themselves and to develops its own identity and culture. Throughout out the class we have participated in a number of activities that better our understanding of Canadian culture and identity. Seminars and other written assignments were used to help us create a our own definition of Canadian Identity. One might argue that Canada is a country of multiculturalism with a variety of new immigrants. Canada stands out from other countries because of its successful healthcare unit and its Charter of Rights and Freedom that allows every individual rights to be fulfilled. Personally, Canada's culture is very rich, different and fresh. Our culture consist of many ethnic backgrounds benefits and simple symbols such as Tim Hortons. Canada’s identity does not have a fix name or symbol, but it does consist of many ethnic groups together.
