Head of a turtle sculpted from cliff edge, in the shadow, below and to the left of the head, is the "crosshatch" symbol. This means sealed entrance or concealment. This turtle is beyond the cache site on the trail, and is saying "go back", you've gone too far. It is looking directly at a large slab of stone 25ft. away, it is20ft. x 20ft. x 8ft. tall, this 144 ton block forms the roof of a defensible structure, the sides of which being made up of four slabs about 4ft. x 4ft. x 12ft. long. Under this "dwelling" is a concealed entrance to an underground chamber, the monuments tell us it contains treasure.
