This vehicle is commonly refered to as a "Snow Cat" this vehicle is very useful up north if you get a lot of snow because of its tracks instead of wheels. These vehicles can range between ambulances, fire trucks, or just recreational. |

For all of you uneducated people this is a snowmobile, which is usually equipped with skis up front and a single track in the back. This snowmobile is a Polaris and is equipped with a tiny engine which I don't know the displacement but usually runs at high rpms |

And if any of your mailboxes have fallen victim to a mysterious winter beating you should all know who and what it was SNOW PLOW MAN! I to have been a victim of such a tragedy, but for the driver it must be pretty cool to have such power.....*evil laugh* |

Here is a few winter driving tips, that are actually useful.......... |
- When driving on roads at high speeds (35mph and up) don't use 4wd, the reason for this is that it only takes one tire to catch then before you know it your vehicle will roll, thats a bad thing - try to keep some form of communication on you (cb, cell phone, pager, stamps) - Don't ever use cruise control in any slippery conditions, trust me - before winter comes in get some bags of sand or bags of salt you know something with weight then put the "weight" in the back of your vehicle this will help keep your ass end from breaking loose - it is always a good idea to practice countersteering to get ready for winter travel - keep some spare change on you at alll times - and always leave with plenty of time to compensate for bad weather - and before winter gets worse I suggest check your tires |
I don't know how to live through this hell Woken up, I'm still lockedin this shell Frozen soul, frozen down to the core Break the ice, I can't take anymore Freezing Can't move at all Screaming Can't hear my call I am dying to live Cry out I'm trapped under ice Crystallized, as I lay here and rest Eyes of glass stare directly at death From deep sleep I have broken away No one knows, no one hears what I say Freezing Can't move at all Screaming Can't hear my call I am Dying to live Cry out I'm trapped under ice Scream from my soul Fate, mystified Hell, forever more No release from my cryonic state What is this? I've been striken by fate Wrapped up tight, cannot move, can't break free Hand of doom has a tight grip on me Freezing Can't move at all Screaming Can't hear my call I am dying Cry out I am trapped under ice |

Now I know all of you have been wondern' what this month's and quite possibly next month's "Beater" was going to be so here it is. This ladies and gentlemen is an AMC Eagle wagon. The reason for a this particular wagon is many. This is one of AMC's greatest ideas, which was to breed room and comfort with a real four wheel drive. This vehicle |
is equiped with the famous AMC Jeep 4wd system and a really tall beefy suspension. The Eagles came usually with 4 or 6 cylinder options and I'm sure you could get a V8 in one. The reason I picked a wagon is that this adds more weight and room to the vehicle for winter travel, this is trully a legend that should not be forgoten in time. Long live AMC! |
