Nick: Joe Kool just loaded Carl Ca$h into a van which as I am being told has left the arena.
Terry: Listen to these stupid fans, they're making so much noise for Kool I can't hear myself think!
Events are shown of the various encounters of Josh Sutton & Tony Rolo. Their first is shown, as Tom Wagner, dressed as a reporter distracts Rolo as Josh Sutton attacks him brutally with a singapore cane, then the two proceed to beat him down. Scenes are then shown from Great American Nightmare. Sutton is sitting at ringside, commentating. Rolo nails Sutton from behind with a chair and hops the guard rail. Rolo proceeds to brutally lay into Sutton. The scenes end with Josh Sutton cutting a promo in the middle of the ring at Genesis 8 just after he was announced Victor Blood's #1 pick. Sutton has the CORE title still over his shoulder. He runs off at the mouth for a bit and it eventually brings out Sebastian's #1 pick, Tony Rolo. Rolo announces that at WWW, there will be a match between the two. And Sutton drops a bombshell, announcing it will be a Caged Stairway to Heaven. The two staredown, a scowl on the face of Rolo, a smile on the face of Sutton.
The topless cage is lowered over the ring. A single ladder sits in the middle of the ring. Up a top, above the ladder, a singapore cane is hanging in the balance.
Nick: This...will be wild. Wait, where's the CORE championship that Sutton stole?!
Terry: Don't worry about that right now. I've been doing a little history on Josh Sutton, Nick.
Nick: Oh?
Terry: Yeah, the guy has never lost a stairway to heaven matchup. And I last counted him being in five.
Nick: But this is Tony Rolo, the Specialist. And that's exactly who my money is going on.
Terry: Say what you will, but Sutton is going to walk out the victor right here tonight.
The lights in the arena die down. The silence is broken by a white halo like pyro. It glides upward and smashes into the ceiling. As the loud crack is heard, "Freak of Nature" by Sinisstar screams along with it in unison. The powerful drum blasts and melodic grinding of the guitar bring Josh Sutton to attention on the ramp. Sutton begins a slow and steady walk to the ring taking in the $oldout scenery. Sutton rounds the ring and jumps onto the steps. He turns around and faces the crowd, extending his arms to the side. Sutton bows his head as if he is in prayer and the lights fade back to normal. Sutton remains standing on the steps and looks to the ramp as....
"My Hero" by Foo Fighters rings through the arena. The fans jump to their feet as "The Specialist" walks quickly to the ring. Rolo stops at the bottom of the ramp and stares at Sutton with eyes of rage. Sutton steps off the steps and points his hands toward the door, as if to tell Rolo to go in first. Rolo is cautious but goes. He climbs up the first step, Sutton smirks. Rolo climbs the second. Suddenly Rolo hops off the steps and drives a double axehandle down across the crown of Sutton. Sutton stumbles backward into the guard rail.
Terry: That no good son of a bitch!
Nick: HEY! Watch it, Terry! Tony told Sutton not to bring his family into this. Sutton presisted, he gets whatever he deserves.
Terry: That was a blatant show of disrespect to Sutton. Sutton was being a gentleman and Rolo obviously has no manners. That's why this match was booked in the first place.
Sutton comes off the guard rail fighting, but Rolo harshly shoves him back against it. Rolo sizes him up and drives a knifeedge chop right across his chest cavity. Rolo irish whips Sutton back first into the steel cage. Sutton 's face lights up with pain, and Rolo is quick to continue the attack. Rolo throws another hard chop to Sutton's chest and throws him over the guard barrier. Sutton gets up quick. Rolo grabs Sutton by his neck and tries to pull him over but Sutton drops down and Rolo's face bounces off the barrier. Sutton hops onto the top of the barrier and dives off of it hitting Rolo with a leg lariat. Rolo falls backward and his head connects with the cage. Tony rolls around holding the back of his head as Sutton gets up and throws the ring announcer out of his chair. Sutton picks up the chair and stands over Rolo. Rolo sits up and Sutton lays him back out with a wicked chair shot to the side of the head. Sutton hits him again then lays the chair across Rolo's chest. Sutton climbs on top of the announcer's table leaving Terry and Nick in confusion. Josh raises his arms and jumps out driving the chair into Rolo's ribs and his own with a huge splash.
Terry: Holy Shit!
Nick: Sutton looks to be just as hurt as Tony Rolo.
Despite the pain, Sutton gets up first but Rolo isn't far behind him. They both get up throwing fists. They begin going at it tooth and nail. Sutton elbows Rolo in the side of the head and throws him off guard. Sutton grabs the chair and throws it at his head, sending Rolo down to the floor again. Sutton opens the cage door and slides in. Sutton backs into the corner and waits on Rolo to enter as well.
Terry: In my opinion, this is the dumbest thing Sutton could do. He's not only giving Rolo time to recover but he's not using this time to climb the ladder and get the singapore cane.
Nick: This is personal Terry. These two have been at eachother's throats for weeks now and I believe that both men want to leave a legacy to be told for years right here tonight. And here comes Rolo.
Rolo climbs into the cage. He wastes no time and charges at Sutton. Sutton meets him half way and they tear into eachother again with hard fists. Rolo takes the advantage and pulverizes a dazed Sutton in the corner with shots to the kidneys. Sutton doubles over and Rolo lands a jumping double knee lift. Sutton twirls around and lands on his back staring blankly at the rafters. Rolo is far from finished it appears as he quickly scoops Sutton up from the mat. Rolo pulls Sutton between his legs and locks his arms. He lifts Sutton slowly and hops off the mat landing an impact piledriver. The crowd lets out a burst of awe as Sutton's head hits the solid ring mat.
Nick: Well, Terry from where I'm sitting, Tony Rolo is beating the hell out of Sutton in his own game.
Terry: I am absolutely in shock right now, but it's still early in the match Nick.
Rolo grabs the ladder and tips it over. It falls and lands directly on the back of Sutton's head. Rolo jumps and drives his boot down onto the base of the ladder causing it to smash Sutton's head beneath it's weight. Rolo steps off of it slowly, allowing the pressure to stay in place a few seconds more. Sutton rolls from underneath the ladder and crawls to the corner. Rolo comes in running and Sutton begs him off. Rolo slows down and grabs Sutton. Sutton pulls Rolo in and hits him directly in the groin. Rolo crumbles and falls to the ground. Sutton sits before him, resting and holding the back of his head. Sutton sits for a few more seconds then pulls himself up using the ropes. Rolo is on his hands and knees. Sutton doesn't look to be giving him the time to get all the way up. Sutton with a full kick to the stomach knocking Rolo to the mat. Sutton grabs a handful of hair and pulls him back up to his knees. Sutton looks down at him and points his finger in his face, shouting obsencities at him. Rolo tries for a shot at Sutton's gut but Sutton backs up and drives a hard shot to Rolo's head instead. Sutton pushes Rolo down into the corner and kicks him repeatedly to keep him in place. Sutton grabs the steel chair he brought into the ring with him. He runs angular at Rolo and throws the chair in front of him, using a form of the skateboard dropkick to drive it directly into his face. Rolo slouches over unmoving. Sutton tosses the chair aside and taunts, feeling quite proud of himself.
Nick: Sutton is wasting a lot of time here.
Terry: Nick, you're for once right, Rolo isn't one to stay down long.
Rolo is nearly to his feet, shaking off the pain from the previous move. Sutton turns around and Rolo drills him with an explosive clothesline. This brings to fans out of their seats and they cheer madly for Rolo as he's gotten a second wind. Sutton up, closed fist from Rolo and Sutton back down. This process continues a couple of more times until Sutton catches Rolo with a thumb to the eye. This momentarily slows the Specialist down. Sutton with a wild uppercut followed by a scoop slam by the nearest turnbuckle. Sutton climbs to the second turnbuckle and steadies himself. He comes off and lands a heart-stopping legdrop across the throat of Rolo. Sutton makes the cover but the referee doesn't count.
Nick: You'd think Sutton would know the rules by now.
Terry: You can't win the match until the singapore cane has been brought down from the top of the arena.
Sutton hits the mat in frustration but quickly regains focus as he picks up the ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring. Sutton grips the second rung of the ladder and begins pulling himself up. Rolo literally jumps to his feet and climbs up right behind Sutton. He hammers on Sutton's back trying to break his grip on the ladder. One of Sutton's hands slips and Rolo uses this to his advantage. He wraps his arms around Sutton's waist and tips backward. This brings Rolo, Sutton and the ladder down.
Terry: OH MY GOD!
Nick: Super German Suplex from Tony Rolo from the mid-way point of the ladder! Sutton is dead! Rolo is dead!
Terry: And the ladder could be broken!
Sutton is absolutely decimated by the last move and lays completely motionless. Rolo is moving a bit and blinkly heavily. Rolo sits up and you can see the pain lingering in his eyes. Rolo gets to his feet and looks over to Sutton who still remains down. Rolo continues looking at Sutton then takes his eyes off of him and looks up at the singapore cane hanging in the balance. Rolo's eyes back to Sutton then to the cane, back to Sutton then back at the cane. Rolo picks the ladder up and sets it up just as Sutton had. Rolo climbs it, taking his time and timely looks back to see if Sutton's mobile. Rolo keeps climbing. Sutton scoots over to the ladder just as Rolo reaches the top. Tony reaches up for the cane and touches it just as Sutton shoves the ladder from a sitting position. The ladder weaves and Rolo flies in the air, smacking against the hard steel of the cage at great velocity.
Nick: DEAR GOD! That cage moved when Rolo's body hit it!
Rolo holds onto the cage to prevent from falling but the pain is too much. Rolo's hand slips from the cage and he crashes to the mat.
Terry: Rolo's dead body you mean.
Nick: And Josh Sutton is back on his feet. What is going to keep these two down?
Sutton half stumbles, half walks over to Rolo. He pulls Rolo up by his hair and lifts him onto his shoulders. Sutton positions him, turns him in midair and drops him with a sitdown inverted piledriver.
Terry: Sutton Driver 2002!
Nick: What?
Terry: SUTTON DRIVER 2002! What a beautiful move! It's over Nick. I hate to say it, no wait, I love to say it, I TOLD YOU SO! Sutton is going to win this thing right here.
Nick: Not yet, he's not done. He's picking Rolo back up.
Sutton picks Rolo up. Rolo wobbles around and is unable to stand up on his own. He falls back into the corner. Sutton grabs the steel chair and puts it in the middle of the ring. Rolo walks out of the corner slowly looking quite groggy. Sutton kicks him in the stomach and Rolo doubles over. Sutton with a front face lock and hooks Rolo's arm and leg. Sutton turns at an 180 degree angle and plants Rolo with a fisherman's neckbreaker directly on the steel chair!
Terry: FALL FROM GRACE! FALL FROM GRACE!
Sutton gets back to his feet and you can see a confident look in his eyes. Sutton picks the ladder up off the ropes and re-positions it in the middle of the ring. He cockily climbs up and reaches the top with no troubles. He unhooks the singapore cane and begins climbing down. Tony Rolo is moving around, but remains down.
Terry: Come on Sutton. All you have to do is pin him.
Sutton seems to be a mind reader as he tosses the singapore cane aside and lays over the body of Rolo. The ref is down for the count. 1...2...thr...Tony kicks out!
Nick: ROLO! ROLO! ROLO! KICKED OUT!
Terry: NO! I don't believe it! Sutton hit two of his patented finishing moves and STILL Tony Rolo kicked out!
Sutton is irate. He picks Rolo back up. Sutton shoves him backward, Rolo walks foreward jacks Sutton's jaw with a right cross. Sutton stumbles backward, but comes right back face to face with Rolo. They end up in a gridlock. Rolo with a hard headbutt and lands a strong belly to belly suplex.
Nick: How does he do it?! It's like he's unhumane! Rolo is back, Rolo is back baby!
Sutton gets back up. Sutton ducks a Rolo clothesline, comes back from the otherside, Rolo ducks a superkick. Rolo attempts another clothesline, Sutton again ducks, but Rolo catches him with a kick to the stomach and hooks him. Rolo lifts Sutton up and....
Nick: ROLOPLEX! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, ROLOPLEX and I'll say it again ROLOPLEX!
Terry: Sutton will kick out, Sutton will kick out.
Rolo makes the cover.
Nick: One....
Terry: No!
Nick: Two....
Terry: No! No!
Nick: Thr.... SUTTON WITH A FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!
Terry: YES YES YES!!!
Nick: What's Rolo doing now?
Rolo scoops Sutton up into an inverted piledriver position. Rolo hooks his arms and cradles Sutton. Rolo hops off the mat and drills Sutton's head directly into the mat at a 90 degree angle. Rolo makes the cover 1....2....3...!
Terry: NO! ROLO WINS?! NO! IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
Winner: Tony Rolo
Tony Rolo gets to his feet slowly and pushes his hair back. He raises his hands in victory. Suddenly Vice President Victor Blood appears in the cage. He breaks his skull capped cane over the back of Rolo's head!
Nick: WHAT IN THE HELL IS HE DOING OUT HERE?!?
Terry: HAHAHA! Rolo got what he deserved. You don't cross the boss.
The cage is raised off the ring. Blood is given a microphone.
Blood: Sutton, get up! GET UP SUTTON! NOW!
Sutton looks up from his seated position on the mat and starts to get to his feet.
Blood: You talk about wanting an $w contract? YOU WANT AN $W Contract don't you?
Sutton looks at Blood and half shrugs.
Blood: If you want a contract, finish that piece of human waste off right now, I will personally give you his spot on the roster!
Sutton stands there, his hand on his chin, thinking. Sutton reaches for the mic but instead grabs Blood's hand and brings the mic to his face.
Sutton: Hm...Let me think...FUCK YOU!!!
Sutton kicks Blood in the stomach and delivers the Fall From Grace.
The fans explode with cheers as Sutton lays out the vice president. Tony Rolo sits up and looks at Sutton. Sutton extends his hand to Rolo.
Nick: What a show of respect from Josh Sutton right here.
Terry: This is making me sick.
Nick: Shut up Terry.
Rolo accepts Sutton's hand. Sutton pulls him up and right into a kick to the stomach. Sutton lands the Fall From Grace on Rolo for the second time, a third on the night. The fans are unsure on what to do. A lot of them boo, some cheer.
Nick: I KNEW IT! SUTTON CANNOT BE TRUSTED!
Terry: Ahahahaa!
Nick: This is sick!
Sutton goes down to ringside and walks to the announcer's booth. His contract for $w is sitting there. Sutton picks up both contracts and tears them right down the middle. Sutton picks it up and rips it right down the center. Sutton holds both pieces in his hand then rolls back into the ring. Victor Blood is starting to get back to his feet. Sutton lands a sharp downward punch across the Vice President's face and sends him back down. Sutton kicks Blood in the stomach and then shoves the two pieces of the contract down his throat. Blood chokes and Sutton kicks him out of the ring. Rolo has pulled himself up on the ropes. Sutton picks up the singapore cane and smacks Rolo with a thick shot across the head. Rolo spins and lands in the corner in a seated position. Sutton grabs a microphone cord from outside and wraps it around Rolo's arms, then places it behind the post, trapping him.
Nick: THIS IS TOO MUCH! Tony Rolo just gave it his all out here tonight and defeated Sutton in his own damn match. Sutton is a sore loser.
Terry: And it's beautiful! Rolo is getting turned into a bloody pulp.
Sutton is repeatedly driving his singapore cane into the now mushy skull of Tony Rolo. Allison, Rolo's wife climbs into the ring and covers his husband with her own body. Sutton looks confused and grabs her by the hair.
Nick: SUTTON DON'T YOU LAY A DAMN HAND ON HER!!
Sutton holds Allison by her hair and then drives the cane across her head. She drops to the mat. Tony is going crazy in the corner, trying to break free from the grasp of the cables. Sutton points at Rolo then picks his wife up. Sutton lands a fall from grace and the crowd is booing like there's no tommorow. Vinny, Tony's son comes from nowhere and jumps on Sutton's back. Sutton smirks and slides him onto his shoulders.
Nick: HERE COMES ANARCHY WITH A STEEL CHAIR!
Anarchy hits the ring and nails Sutton right between the eyes before he has a chance to hit a Sutton Driver. Sutton drops the kid and rolls out of the ring. Sutton hops over the barrier and Anarchy chases him into the crowd.
Nick: I didn't think I'd be saying this, but THANK GOD for Anarchy! Sutton has gone TOO FAR this time!
Terry: When you bring a guys family into the fold, it's too much. Sutton has snapped, he took out Victor Blood his own boss. There's no way there's a future for him in $W now.
