| Cyrus Ear is 14 yrs old and is a member of the Chiniki Nakoda First Nation. He is in the 8th grade at Morley Community School and his favorite subject is Social Studies. When Cyrus was 16 months, Shanda and Grandma Phyllis took over the responsibility of bringing him up. He has been participating in the traditional Nakoda ceremonies since he was a baby and he has much faith in our ways. Along with his uncle Tobie, he has been around the drum since he was young and is now starting to sing with the group at various pow-wows. He has expressed an interest in dancing and will be out there with Tobie as soon as his outfit can be put together. Cyrus's other interests include: skateboarding, snowboarding, golf, hunting, paintball, movies, heavy metal music, Internet, hanging out with his cousins and jamming out on the drums. |
