How I got into M*A*S*H

I got into watching MASH one day on May of 1999. It was a Saturday and it was raining. I was feeling rather lazy that day and I was sitting on the couch watching TV when MASH came on.  I didn't paticularly want to watch it but I was too lazy to get up and walk across the room and get the remote to change the channel.  I watched 4 episodes that day and fell in love with the show. I taped an episode for the first on Memorial day. That June I planned my life around watching MASH.  When I returned home from a week of camp in July I discovered that my parrents had gotten the computer fixed and hooked up to the net. MASH was the first word I ever typed into a search engine. I son joined a message board and met many great people. That fall many of my internet friends were building websites of their own I joined them and this page is the result. Inorder to keep in better contact with my internet friend I got AIM. So anyhow life went on merrily until December 29,2000 when we moved. At my new house the phonelines were bad and my internet service provider didn't work right. I was offline for about 4 weeks and I missed everyone very much. After I finnally got service restored, I continued to keep in touch with my MASH buddies and finnally got to meet some of them when we had a convention in Toledo Ohio.  It was really neat.
Not to much has happend since then. I still visit the BB most everyday and talk oftenwith my MASH buddies. I recently read the Last Days of MASH by Arlene Alda. It was quite interesting.  Its worth taking a look at if you can find it in your library.  I got it on an inter library loan. I have been post and visiting dayly at the BB (www.mashtalk.com) for over 5 years now, since August 10, 1999.  Although I no longer have time to watch MASH every day I have begun collecting the DVDs and I am still a great fan.
