~EXPERIENCE
Build bridges in the community by collaborating with other organizations on projects such as increasing access to the arts; organize and supervise internships and volunteers based on individual ability level; maintain written and verbal communication with audience members, board of directors, donors, subscribers, volunteers, artists and camp parents; manage day-to-day business operations; manage yearly budget of over $120,000; implement plans to increase and diversify volunteer, internship and audience bases; direct and administer Summer Arts Camps; hire, supervise and evaluate artists, instructors, and counselors; developed a template calendar and operations manual to assist each committee in meeting target goals; plan and administer annual fund and other fundraising campaigns; have (co)authored grants acquiring over $100,000 for general support to equipment to scholarships; develop and administer individual and yearly publicity and marketing efforts; manage house and box office for all productions; assist board of directors in meeting goals of Long Range Plan.
Worked closely with my co-leader in the development of this travelling undergraduate academic program focusing on central & southern Appalachia; demonstrated group leadership skills & facilitation of peers; identified & contacted field consultants; developed & evaluated course syllabi & requirements for 5 undergraduate courses; facilitated courses for 9 undergraduate students; generated 12 week itinerary; managed $25,000 budget; worked closely with faculty sponsors & field consultants; compiled reading materials for courses; cooked for large group; maintained camping equipment/gear.
Organized community forums; summarized community feedback sessions; coordinated Task Force meetings.
Made milk mustaches & photographed winners of national GOT MILK mustache contest.
Assisted Technical Director in design and construction of lights and sets for mainstage shows.
Directed and designed lights for experimental performance

Processed ceramics from creation to glazing to kiln firing; purchased ceramic supplies; cleaned studio.

Created statistics from evaluations & translated statistics (utilizing pivot tables) onto Excel spreadsheets.
Photographed 1996 program for posterity.
Generated public awareness surrounding the effects of federal environmental legislation on a state level; analyzed federal environmental policy, contacted Congressional representatives, wrote press releases, organized and attended press conferences, built local and statewide coalitions, guest lectured a high school environmental class, etc.
Created and sold personalized children's books.
