Extra info: This is a 30 minute movie showing the real prologue to Miki and Yuu's love.

Miki’s lying in bed in the school health department after being hit in the face by a ball, supposedly asleep when Yuu comes in. Yuu asks her if she's asleep but she doesn't answer, so he looks at her as she "sleeps". Then he kisses her and leaves. As soon as he has left, Miki jumps up, surprised and wonders what he's up to, as they have just met...or have they......

Opening theme.
Yuu's walking along the corridor thinking of how Miki’s panicking now about the kiss, but the kiss felt right to him. Then he tells of what happens two weeks ago:-
Yuu is with his parents and they tell him they are going to get a divorce. They explain that on the trip to Hawaii they met the Koishikawas who were on the same tour. As they were the same age, they got along great and as time went on they fell in love with each others partner. With a deep discussion they decide to exchange partners and remarry. His parents make it clear that their love for each is more like the love between siblings, and they want to hold on to the passion they have with the Koishikawas. Yuu says its OK and they jump with joy. However, Yuu looks a bit down.

Yuu is looking at a book but has something on his mind so he closes it, knocking down a family photo in the process. He picks it up and looks at it. Flashback of Yuu's conversation occurs:-

They tell him about Koishikawas daughter, Miki, who is the same age. They also talk about the living arrangements they have made. The six of them are going to live together in one big house. This is so that even though the parents relationships change, the parent-child relationship wont. The children are going to be adopted by their father so their own family name wont change. They have also arranged a dinner with the Koishikawas.

Yuu stares at the photo a little longer then puts it down, facing downwards, and goes out. He walks along the street deep in thought, when suddenly he turns and runs down an alleyway. He finds himself in a park, and as he is walking along, he notices Miki, alone practicing tennis against the wall. Yuu stands there admiring Miki as she plays until she gets tired. Then she sits down and puts a towel over her head.

Suddenly a little voice shout out "MONSTER" and five kids come running towards Miki. They are in some sort of super hero costumes and call themselves the 'Gastaman'. They hold up they're toy guns, getting ready to attack the "Towel Monster". They shoot water at Miki and she jumps up in anger removing the towel. One of the kids warns the leader to be careful as the towel monster has changed into a woman. Miki’s anger instantly goes and she watches them as they carry on. Miki gets it that they are playing a game as they combine and attack her with their water pistols. The kids jump with joy thinking that they have destroyed the monster but then Miki lets out an evil chuckle and pretends to be a nasty monster. The kids run away and Miki collects her bags and runs after them. Yuu thinks that it is hilarious and laughs his head off. He then notices Miki’s wristband on the floor and picks it up. He goes to give it back only to find that she has disappeared. He looks at the wristband and finds the initials M. K. on it.

At Junk Jungle, Yuu goes in to see his boss. They sit down for a coffee and his boss asks him what's wrong, Yuu denies that there is something wrong. Suddenly he notices Miki running by. His boss calls him but he says goodbye and runs after Miki. However, he looses sight of her so he stops. After a while a voice shouting Meiko catches his attention. He turns and finds Miki running towards Meiko. He finds out that she is Miki and watches her as she apologize to Meiko for being late. The Gastaman appear and call Miki a coward for running away, but Miki explains that she had something to do and is not the towel monster anymore. The kids don't listen and tells her the new nickname "Towel Monster Koishikawa". Yuu reacts to the name and watches as the kids persuade Miki to go and play. Meiko asks who these kids are and they do their pose, introducing themselves as Gastaman Alpha, Gastaman Beta, Gastaman Omega, Gastaman Zeta, and Gastaman - together known as the Gastaman brothers. Yuu thinks about Miki’s name and realizes that she may be the one that he's going to live with. Interested in her, he goes and follows her as she play with the kids and spends time with Meiko. During Miki’s chat with some foreigners, the foreigner notices Yuu and asks Miki if he's her friend, but when she actually looks he has disappeared. Miki is surprised. Yuu is walking along the street and he looks at the sweatband. Then he runs off.

Yuu's going to school and his parents remind him about dinner with the Koishikawas. Yuu reassures them that he won't forget and runs off to school. In the evening Yuu is running to dinner because he's late and the waiter shows him to the table. He tidies himself up while thinking about his meeting with Miki the other day. He walks to the table thinking that even though the sweatband hadn't been returned, he'll be able to return it someday.

The Movie ends with Miki and Yuu staring into each other's eyes.
