The Company was incorporated in Bermuda on 31 August 2000 and is the holding company of Loampit, Linyi Xincheng and Champ Base. The Group's operations are primarily in China and it started operations in 1994 in Linyi in Shandong province. It produces meat products such as ham and sausages, primarily for consumption in China under its "Jinluo" brand. The brand was amongst the top 10 brands in China for meat products. It has 300 retail shops in China. The Group does not rear pigs and chickens and obtains the supply of live pigs and chickens from third party suppliers. Its products comprise processed meat products, frozen pork, fresh pork, pig by-products and frozen chicken meat.
Produces meats products for PRC under “Jinluo” brand.
FY00 Fresh or Frozen meat 67.5%, processes meat products 32.5%.
1HFY01 Profit and turnover shot up 40% and 36% respectively.Company said demand and sales boosted profit, which was also helped by lunch of new products. Expects a comparable 2H.
