John Taylor
- he is probably best known as the bassist of the '80s synth-pop British powerhouse, Duran Duran.
- he was a founding member of the band (1978) and stayed on until 1997, to pursue a solo career and tour with his band, John Taylor Terroristen.
- in addition to music, John has stepped into the limelight as an actor, in the Allison Anders film, "Sugar Town" (1998), playing an aging '80s rocker eager to find fame in the '90s (talk about typecasting).
- John is the only guy I can think of, famous or otherwise, that can get away with such a strategically-placed blonde highlight in his hair, and still look as debonair as ever. (he just turned 40 you know - and he still looks gorgeous as ever!)

- have I mentioned that I have a crush on him? no matter that he's twice my age...*grin*
- he's happily married. so what's a girl to do? his former bandmate Nick Rhodes
is quite the looker. he's no John Taylor but...this is the kicker ladies...he's available!
David Byrne
- former lead singer of the '70s/'80s punk and new wave band, the Talking Heads. (remember "Burning Down the House," "Wild, Wild Life,"and "And She Was"?)
- since he quit the Talking Heads, he has forged a prolific solo career and started his own record label, Luaka Bop. the label's stars include, among others, alt-rock faves Cornershop and Geggy Tah.
- he recently guest-hosted MTV's Top 100 Videos of All Time, alongside LL Cool J and Slash of Guns 'N' Roses. I am telling you, the man does not age.

Elton John
- amazing, amazing musician. still going strong after three decades of being in the limelight. with no signs of slowing.
- I have his "Love Songs" CD and it's amazing. check it out!
Phil Collins
- he is the only musician that me and my friends can agree on. I like his lyrics, but my friend
Jenn likes the sound of his voice.
- he was in "A Hard Day's Night." how many people can say that, huh? true, he had a bit role, but
it was a role nonetheless...
- he sang with 'N Sync - in "Trashing the Camp" for the Tarzan soundtrack. he wouldn't have sang with them unless he respected them as singers, so I
thank him for that.

Jimmy Page
- he provided the guitar backbone and some amazing guitar riffs with Led Zeppelin. before that,
he provided lead guitar styling to the Yardbirds, and before that he was a session musician - and therefore
his guitar playing has probably touched hundreds of early '60s recordings.
- when he was younger, and in a skiffle band, he mentioned on national TV that he wanted to be "a biotechnologist"
and "find the cure for cancer" if it hadn't been found yet by the time he grew up - AWWW!
- he played a double-necked Gibson. not everyone can play those double-necked things. so I consider
that a major accomplishment.
- "Stairway to Heaven." 'nuff said.
