florian
Oh yes, I remember the first time I heard Florian. I was on a train from Stockholm to Uppsala when I listened to tape I got from the band's keyboard player. I didn't even know what kind of music to expect, but I will never forget the feelings I felt when I for the first time heard Märta Myrsteners fantastic songs, the beautifully storytelling lyrics, the expected chord and the fantastic bedroom recordings. It took a while before I got the band to realize that I really loved their music and wanted to released it on my label.
On two cold winter days the beginning of january 2001 we recorded three songs on my 8 track porta studio in the music room of their school. I had hardly heard the songs then, but it took about two seconds to love them, and I will do forever.

For a few reasons it took a while until the 7" was out, and when it finally it sold out rather quick. I think there are still some copies left around at different mail order places, but I have nothing here in my closets.

The band does nowadays play very seldom, because some of them have moved to different parts of the country, but they have recorded a fantastic album that will be out on CD on Dashboard Recordings. Believe me, that album will be true magic.
