David - vocals (born Roger Cook, August 19th 1941, Bristol)

Jonathan - vocals (born Roger Greenaway, August 23rd 1938, Bristol)

David & Jonathan were actually the songwriting team of Cook & Greenaway. They were responsible for many notable hits during the sixties and early seventies, including You've Got Your Troubles (The Fortunes).

They had two hit records in 1966, the first being a cover of The Beatles' ballad "Michelle" which was produced by George Martin. "Lovers Of The World Unite" was another major success for the duo but ultimately their main contribution would be in providing hits for artists such as Gene Pitney, Engelbert Humperdinck, The Hollies and White Plains, among others, during the late sixties and early seventies.

Cook later went on to sing with Blue Mink and made a few solo albums under his real name.
