700R-4 corvette internals with a hyd. lock-up kit. I need to install the after market valve to allow 3/4 throttle cruising in O.D. Don't know if I would recomend the hyd. lock-up kit. It has a 2500 stall and at mild highway speeds in lock-up my rpm is so low I'm not into my cam. to much throttle to get it to speed up wich sends me into passing gear into the convertor and yea haw here we go. Best to run 80 or so. I have the trans sitting in the factory spot. no drive shaft modification required. stock coluum shifter works great. Although this set the engine 1" or so farther forward than my hooker V-8 motor mount plate instructions  wanted. oh well thank god for the welder. This set-up also allowed my tall valve covers to fit with no modification to the A/C box.(it gets hot here in Oklahoma) All and all I'm very pleased with the way the engine sits. I can get to every tranny bolt.  I have put a stock convertor in place of the stall has much better manners around town and on highway although is very harsh taking off. a little goes along way. the stall was much smoother actually you hardly ever knew it was there except on the highway. I am am satisfied so far with the stock but do not have a rear end in it yet that will hold up to slicks. I may go back if it bogs too much with stickies on it.
350 .030 over 10.5 to 1 . 2.02 heads. comp cam .501 lift 244 duration. Torker intake Holley 650 double pumper. Roller rockers. Mallory ignition, electric fuel pump, regulator, and gauge. Hooker V-8 headers(if the front clip had not been off Hooker would have gotten them back in a lump. many times on and off) I will be running corvette(89) front Acc. brackets and acc.(alt,p/s,and air. Yes it will have air) it's the only thing that will fit between the block and the electic fans.(71/4")  I choose to run the fans in the sucker mode. I did'nt want to cut my grill or hood release brackets in any way. This has made things more difficult but I think it will be worth it.(no rattles) The corvette Acc. should take a little weight off water pump is short aluminum and reverse flow with a serpentine set-up. The A/C lines clear my tall valve covers and will clear my fans.
Tight fit for the Acc. Remote  mount oil filter visible. Be-cool V-8 S-10 radiator
Core support in. Summit combo trans and oil cooler visible. Prefect fit between the condenser and support bracket.
