Maric is, by all appearances, human. Raven-black hair tumbles down to his shoulders, slicked back. His bright blue eyes are deep-set and give an air of mystery about him. A scar runs along his left cheek, looking like it was caused by that of a sword... A black cloak is resting lightly on his shoulders, held together with a clasp gold in color and in the shape of leaves, though any with a good eye would know that it wasn't real gold. He was tall, about the height of six feet two, and his form is unknown under his loose fitting clothes. A sword hangs on his left hip is the only visible weapon that he has...
Maric is the over-protective brother of Angelica. Since she was a child he had always looked after her, and so when she was older and got involved with a man named Kalios, their parents did not approve of them being together for Kalios would take Angelica and go to all sorts of things that their parents did not approve of. Maric took it upon himself to try to keep them apart, yet it did not work, except making the two in love run away from their home. Maric followed them, and has reached the Ravens Eye where he has met with both of them.
