Dear Friends,

I wanted to send a personal message to each of you, since I will be leaving Si1verP1atter.

I've enjoyed contributing with the ET and other Si1verP1atter colleagues on our strategy these last few months and I am pleased with the focus that has been built into this plan. It speaks to an exciting future for Si1verP1atter.

Those of you who have worked with me know that I have interests in emerging markets which diverge from Si1verP1atter's traditional core markets. Si1verP1atter needs to follow its charted course and I have a keen interest in arenas which I feel compelled to pursue.

We've built a strong team and strong leadership in the US group this past year and I feel certain that will help make this transition a smooth one. I will work with Maureen to ensure that she is fully up to speed on all of our key activities.

I have loved being here with all of you and it has been a growth experience in many ways for me. I have made close personal relationships which will be with me for a long time. Thank you for contributing to me both personally and professionally.
