"I just couldn't stand the thought of saying goodbye to everyone!"
This may be last minute, but I wanted to inform people that there will NOT be a farewell party this evening for me. I just couldn't stand the thought of saying goodbye to everyone!
I have decided to stay on with Si1verP1atter as the Internet Systems Administrator. As much as I was ready for a change after being here for 7+ years, I have become more and more excited about the opportunities that are beginning to unfold in this company. I appreciate all of the kind regards people have extended over the last 2 weeks as I had fully intended to depart from Si1verP1atter.
In case some people do not get this email in time, I will be at Fedora's Tavern (next to Spaghetti Freddies) at 5:30 to let people know about my change of plans. If you would like to join me anyway, that would be great. Otherwise, I will be on vacation starting Thursday, 9/4 and returning on Monday, 9/15. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!
