JohnD Named Chief Operating Officer at SilverPlatter Information

Norwood, Massachusetts--Si1verP1atter has named JohnD Chief Operating Officer. JohnD, who joined Si1verP1atter in 1997 as CIO, will now be responsible for electronic publishing operations, Internet service, global technical support, technology development, business process re-invention, as well as the organization's global infrastructure and systems.

"John brings outstanding experience and knowledge to his new position as COO," said RonA, Si1verP1atter's Chief Executive Officer. "His background in organizational effectiveness, strategy, operations, and information systems will be invaluable to us."

Dove was previously Vice President and Executive Director of Technology with 5ymmetrix, Inc., a management consulting firm servicing Fortune 500 businesses. He has held senior management positions with Computer Corporation of America and Ease1 Inc., and was a visiting Professor of Information Systems at Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering.

A resident of Arlington, JohnD received a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College, and has run 22 marathons throughout the world since 1980.
